The Undoing

An Online Writing Journey

“Each week I feel a homecoming to Womanhood”
— Sally

For the things that need to be said.

There are things that linger within before we have words for them. Things living quietly beneath the busyness, the roles we play, the people we care for, the ways we have learned to hold ourselves together.

For three months, a small circle of women meets each week online. To write, listen, share and unfold. We follow the threads of our inner lives and see where they lead us.

You do not need to be “a writer”. You do not need to have anything figured out. Simply arrive with a curiosity and a pen.

Many of us spend a lifetime editing ourselves.

This space is for the raw.

Writing is the Doorway

This isn't a writing course.

There are no writing techniques to master, no pressure to produce something beautiful or even anything that makes sense. Instead, we use writing as a way of getting closer to ourselves.

Through writing invitations, conversation, meditation and simple creative practices take us beneath the polished stories and into the living material underneath. The dirt of life. The bits that need to be swept up and cleared out.

We might write about motherhood. Desire. Anger. Grief. Our bodies. The lives we thought we would have. The things we have never said. The selves we have outgrown and the selves beginning to emerge. Sometimes the writing surprises us. Sometimes it makes us laugh. Sometimes somebody reads something aloud and another woman says, “I thought I was the only one.” That is part of the magic of writing in circle. We discover that so much of what we have carried privately is deeply human.

“This is a space that burnishes honesty, a rare experience that has added immeasurable value to my life. This course has brought up pieces of myself that feel entirely new to me.” - Annericke

“The space is incredibly safe & sacred. A chance to crack open our hearts and see a true reflection of our beautiful, painful and joyful human experience.” -Hollie

“The writing circle brings me into presence in a way I’ve never felt before. I allow myself to be held and seen by the group in such an intimate way. I feel closer to myself and connected to other incredible people in ways I never imagined.” - Clara

The Circle

Something happens when women make space to gather regularly. We create the room for the enormous things and for the completely ordinary. For grief and belly laughter. For the things you havent yet known how to say. THIS is heart nourishment, and we flourish from it.
